Installing the top longeron (1.8 hrs)
First off, a little update on the right sidewall surface finish.
The little epoxy bubble that kept appearing below the peel-ply sheet, but above the fiberglass, had a chance to dry out and the surface turned out a bit lumpy indeed.

Good thing that they sanded off easily, because there were quite a few of them.

While the plans call for floxing the longeron while the fiberglass is still wet, I decided to use peel-ply instead, and postpone the longeron installation. I did this because I wanted to have the opportunity to ensure the longeron was perfectly straight, and lined up with the top of the foam. I accomplished this by backing it up to a straight-edge, and nailing it to the cured fiberglass. I then removed the longeron confident that I could return it to its proper position later.

I flipped the longeron over, and applied wet-flox to it.

I then reinstalled the longeron with nails, put weight on it, and left it to cure.
